Panli and I started working together in 2017 - I was thinking to improve my general fitness and get more active during the week in a bid to improve my mental health. Panli targeted my comparatively weak core and upper body, building a series of varied, interesting programmes that have helped to build my strength and improve my flexibility and fitness. He had also built sessions around my weekend role as a hockey goalkeeper in an attempt to make me sharper and fleeter of foot. Three years later I’m stronger and fitter than ever, my confidence and mental strength are up thanks to the natural rush you get from training and my hockey play is better than ever - I even have a waist rather than just a belly! Sessions with Panli are never dull - he changes things up to keep your mind engaged whilst never losing sight of our targets. Thanks to his guidance and encouragement I’m doing things I never thought possible (like deadlifting 130kg), and I’m looking forward to seeing where what we can achieve together.
